Palaye Royale Concerts Tickets

Canadian-American art-rockers Palaye Royale provide a heady mix of decadent aesthetic glamour fused with music that sits in the overlap between My Chemical Romance and the Rolling Stones. The sibling trio isn't afraid to explore the heavier side of lyricism, but does so with a punk ethos and sartorial elegance!

ABOUT PALAYE ROYALE

Canadian-American rock band Palaye Royale was formed in 2008 under the name Kropp Circle (Kropp being the surname of the three brothers who started the band). The group consists of siblings Remington Leith (lead vocals), Sebastian Danzig (guitar, keyboards), and Emerson Barrett (drums, piano), as well as Andrew Martin (guitar), and Jennie Vee (bass).

CAREER

2008-2011: As Kropp Circle

In 2008, when the Kropp brothers were teens (Sebastian 16, Remington 14, and Emerson 12), they formed Kropp Circle. The following year, the band was featured on the online Radio Disney show N.B.T. (Next Big Thing). After three years of playing together, they changed their name in 2011 to Palaye Royale after the dance hall Palais Royale in Toronto, which is where their grandparents first met.

2012-present: As Palaye Royale

After re-branding as a ‘fashion-art rock band’, Palaye Royale released their first single "Morning Light" in March 2012. This was followed in June 2013 by the six-track EP The Ends Beginning. The following year, Palaye Royale became the first unsigned band to win MTV's Musical March Madness tournament, beating out artists such as Linkin Park.

The band signed with Sumerian Records in late 2015, releasing their debut studio album, Boom Boom Room (Side A), the following June. The album reached number 21 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and launched the single "Get Higher," which peaked at number 26 on the Billboard Modern Rock Charts. That year, they performed as part of the Vans Warped Tour. In 2017,  bassist Daniel Curcio and guitarist Andrew Martin joined the group as touring musicians.

Palaye Royale’s second album, Boom Boom Room (Side B), was released on September 28, 2018. The album hit several Billboard charts, reaching the top 10 of the Independent Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts and reaching number 89 on the Billboard 200. Summer 2018 also saw the band join the Vans Warped Tour once more, and also perform as Palaye in the Park – the first in a series of fan-led meet-ups in public parks, the first taking place in London, having been organized by British fans of the band.

In spring 2019, the band embarked on a headlining tour to support the release of Boom Boom Room (Side B). That summer, they opened for Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson on the Twins of Evil Tour. In early 2020, the band embarked upon a European tour. That May, they released their third album, The Bastards, which reached number 12 on the Billboard Top Alternative Albums Chart and number 27 on the Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart. The album also charted in Hungry. In June 2020, Curcio was replaced on bass by Jennie Vee.

July 2021 saw another change in direction for the band and on July 9, the singles "No Love In LA" and "Punching Bag" were released on all platforms. These singles were followed by "Paranoid" in October 2021 and "Broken" in May 2022, ahead of their new album, Fever Dream.
