Dusty Slay's unique take on stand-up stems from a fascinating life. His trucker hat and trailer park image aren't just a gimmick, they are as authentic as the man himself and act as a perfect sparking point for his hilarious anecdotal comedy!

Dusty Slay grew up in a mobile home neighborhood in Opelika, Alabama and his experience of growing up poor informs his comedy style. He began his comedy journey in 2004 when he moved to Charleston, South Carolina and began taking improvisational comedy classes. He is married to stand-up comedian Hannah Hogan.
After building his comic confidence with improv, Slay made the move to stand-up comedy and began performing on the local circuit. A move to Nashville, Tennessee galvanized his venturing into stand-up and Slay began touring all across the US, honing his set over several years.
Slay released his debut comedy album Makin’ That Fudge in 2014, followed by Son of a Ditch in 2017, but it was 2019 that proved to be his breakout year. He was named “Best Comedian” and one of the “most hardworking Music City stand-ups” as well as being named one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch for 2019.” He also achieved his dream of being the youngest comedian to ever perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry Stage. His episode of Comedy Central’s Stand-Up Featuring premiered in May 2019 and he had a second appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, following previous sets on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Last Comic Standing, and Laughs on Fox. 2019 was also the year that he began the We’re Having a Good Time podcast with his wife.
In 2022, Slay appeared on Netflix’s The Standups and was named as ”a clear highlight of the season” by Paste Magazine.
