ABOUT JOE LIST

Born and raised in Whitman, Massachusetts, comedian Joe List’s first foray into comedy was soon after he graduated from Whitman-Hanson High School when he began performing at the clubs in Boston.

He is married to fellow comedian Sarah Tollemache and the couple battled against each other on Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle season 3.

CAREER

List has now been performing stand-up comedy for just shy of 20 years. He released his debut comedy album, So Far No Good, in 2013 and also started the weekly podcast Tuesdays with Stories, which he co-hosts with fellow comedian Mark Normand. Another podcast he regularly appears on is Robert Kelly's You Know What Dude podcast.

In 2015, he was a finalist on season nine of NBC’s Last Comic Standing. That year, he also recorded a half-hour comedy special for Comedy Central. 2016 saw List release his second comedy album, Are You Mad at Me?. He also opened for Louis C.K.’s 2016 international tour on his dates in Europe and the United States, including three performances at Madison Square Garden.

2018 saw list release a special for Netflix’s The Standups. This was followed by his next comedy special, I Hate Myself, which List also produced and which was released on Comedy Central's YouTube channel on 6 August 2020.
