More About MACC

MACC was originally built in 1994 to provide a large gathering space for the community to enjoy the performing arts. Since it was created, it has attracted a wide variety of popular performers, performance troupes, and the like. And it, has expanded to include a variety of venues, including the A&B Amphitheater, which each specialize in different performance styles.

The A&B Amphitheater itself hosts up to 5,500 spectators for seating events and is one of the MACC’s best outdoor stages. The facility has hosted major concerts by performers including Elton John, The Doobie Brothers, Pearl Jam and B.B. King.

What makes A&B Amphitheater stand out is the beautiful stage and the surrounding space which is visually impressive and relaxing and has been used for a variety of galas, parties, and fundraisers to support MACC. This includes the world famous Brewers festival.

Seating Chart

For most seated events, the A&B Amphitheater has seats for 5,500 guests. This seating is arranged into five columns of seating with wheelchair-accessible seating available. If you require wheelchair accessibility assistance or any accommodations, guests are encouraged to contact the venue at 808-242-SHOW (7469) prior to the event.

For seated events, seating is outdoor seating arranged into rows for an outdoor concert hall experience. Some events may replace these seats with bleachers as required by the visiting performer or troupe. Other events may be general admission standing room only events.

Rules

To make sure that your visit to the A&B Amphitheater is safe and enjoyable, the venue has created a set of rules that must be followed. Guests who are found to be breaking these rules may be banned from the venue without refund. If you have any questions, you may call the venue at 808-242-SHOW (7469).

Alcohol Policy

It is unlawful for anyone under the age of 21 to obtain or consume alcohol. It is also unlawful to provide alcohol to a minor regardless of relationship or circumstance. All violators will be removed and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Parking Policy

All parking is available from lots controlled by the MACC. Parking fees range from $5-$25 depending on location and event. Please call ahead if you have questions.

Prohibited Items

• Guests will not be allowed to bring the following items into the venue.
• Outside food or beverages
• Backpacks, bags, or large purses
• Chairs, strollers, umbrellas or items with metal frames
• cameras, video or recording devices.
• No drugs or illegal items.
• No weapons or explosives.
• Any other item management deems inappropriate

Smoking Policy

The MACC is a non-smoking facility. This includes cigarettes, cigars, vapes, and any other smoking paraphernalia .

Tailgate Policy

Due to safety concerns, tailgate parties will not be allowed.

Ticket Policy

All ticket sales are considered final. That means there are no refunds or exchanges allowed under most circumstances. This also includes if an event is experiencing unexpected rain. You should pack accordingly if your event date may have rain. Please refer to the prohibited items list.

Also, please treat your ticket like cash meaning it will not be replaced if lost/stolen/destroyed.

Parking

The MACC is located on One Cameron Way in Kahului, HI 96732. Information on directions can be found with your preferred mapmaking software. Once you arrive, you can find parking in one of several lots scattered around the facility. All parking lots are controlled by MACC and will cost between $5-$25 depending on the event and location of the parking space.

Please be aware that all parking spaces and lots have the same rules as the venue.
