When Abacoa Amphittheater was first opened, no one could have possibly expected it would become the heart of entertainment in its community. But this Amphitheater has become iconic in the entertainment nightlife of the community. With a free monthly concert series and several concerts, live shows, and events throughout the year, it’s undoubtedly the biggest part of living in the community.

What makes this most astounding is how the Amphitheater could be said to be tied to the life of the area. Because Abacoa was established in 1997 and is an example of the New Urbanism style that’s become popular in Florida. As the community grew, residents came flooding in toe fill the new area with men, women, and families coming together to create a brand new community. Eventually though, it was decided that the community needed more entertainment to keep it flourishing, especially from Florida’s traditional tourism status.

That’s why several bars, venues, and clubs opened up including the Abacoa Amphitheater. And while some citizens felt that the events were disruptive, it quickly became a happening spot, especially once the free concert series was established. 

The Amphitheater Today

Today, the Amphitheater isn’t just home to some of the hottest local and national concerts. It’s also home to several special events including the 2023 Jupiter Beer, Wine, & Spirits Fest as well as the Cajun Crawfish and Music Festival.

The venue has even hosted several tribute concerts in honor of major performers, major troupes, and several important names in the live entertainment space. These concerts are popular with locals and tickets are often fast sellers, with the best seats in the house going nearly as soon as tickets go on sale.

Seating Chart

Abacoa Amphitheater is proud to offer an adaptable venue that can provide a wide variety of event styles. From smaller and more intimate events to larger celebrations and festivals, it has the tech, acoustics, and versatility to capture all those needs. Most events have a small seating area that is behind a vendor space or general admission areas for live standing room only concerts. Accessibility seating is also available, though it’s advised to arrive early and ask staff for any information or accomodations you might need.

During seated events, seating is either bleacher outdoor event style seating or provided with fold out chairs on the lawn. Larger events may include lawn seating spacing. You should check the event listing for all details regarding your chosen event. Seating is always organized to offer the best sightlines to the stage and with sound engineering in use to make music, speech, and  other sound effects to be as crystal clear as possible.

Rules

To make your visit to the amphitheater a lot more enjoyable, Abacoa Amphitheater has created a set of rules. Please take the time to read and understand these rules before coming down to the venue. Because failure to abide by them may result in getting escorted off the premises with no refund or banned from the venue in more extreme circumstances.

Bag Policy

In general, at Abacoa Town Center Amphitheatre or other venues, bag policies regularly change to accommodate new guidelines and protocols. However, some general guidelines for venue bag policies may be helpful to consider for Abacoa Town Center Amphitheatre.

Small, hand-held clutches (4.5" x 6.5") are better options than large purses and are your best bet for an acceptable bag. Clear bags are better than opaque backpacks. Medical bags or kits are usually accepted at venues like Abacoa Town Center Amphitheatre, but may be subject to inspection or X-ray. Items likely not permitted at Abacoa Town Center Amphitheatre include (but are not limited to) camera equipment, laptops or computers, flashlights, drones, strollers, and laser pointers. Pets are not allowed in most cases, but service dogs are likely permitted.

Late Arrival Policy

For certain events, you may be restricted from entering the venue if you arrive late. Guests who are late may be asked to wait before entering the seating area until an appropriate rest. To make sure you avoid frustration, please arrive at least a half hour before the show opens.

Refund Policy

Generally ticketed events do not allow refunds or exchanges. However, if the event is canceled due to weather or circumstances beyond your control, you may be eligible. Please contact the venue staff for questions.

Restricted Items

Generally speaking, guests and visitors are not allowed to bring the following items to the venue.

• No Purses, Backpacks, Backpack Purses, Cinch Bags, Sling Bags or Draw String Bags
• No Clutches or Purses larger than 4” X 6”
• No professional cameras or any camera with detachable lenses are allowed
• No Audio or Video Recording Devices, GoPros, Laptops, or Selfie Sticks
• No Wrapped Gifts or Balloons
• No Signs larger than 2’ X 2’ or with posts of any kind
• No Strollers unless tickets are in our Suites, Lounge 954, or Corona Beach House
• No weapons of any kind (Knives, Pocket Knives, Mace, Tasers, Etc.)
• No Chains or Spikes
• No Fireworks and Laser Pointers
• No Airhorns or Vuvuzelas
• No Food is permitted unless for medical/religious purposes
• No Previously Purchased Souvenir Cups
• No Non-prescription Drugs
• No Animals, except Certified Service Animals
• Laptops Are Not Permitted
• Any Other Item Management may deem dangerous to Public Safety

Parking

The Abacoa Amphitheater is located at 1267 Main St., Jupiter, FL. If you require assistance with reaching the show, you may use your favorite map making software or GPS. Once you arrive, there is plenty of on the street parking. Many local residents recommend parking behind the stadium during off-event days to save yourself time to reach the front gate.

Please be sure to bring extra change and bills in case parking fees are required for your event.
