The Amp at Craig Ranch is known for a lot of incredible shows. Their annual calendar of events includes special comedy, indie rock, EDM, 90’s nostalgia shows, and more. This includes an annual blues festival as well as a variety of special tour dates from some of the most famous stars in music.
But what is it about Craig Ranch that makes thousands of music and comedy lovers rush to grab tickets to the venue? Especially since the venue is relatively close to world famous Las Vegas?
As it turns out, that’s part of the magic and charm. The venue is one of the largest and best of its kind anywhere near Vegas offering excitement, thrills, and entertainment for guests of all ages. Whether you’re there to see a visiting stand-up comic or a rising music sensation, it offers an outdoor experience like none other in Vegas. But most importantly, it’s still relatively close enough that visitors from across the world can enjoy the glitz and glamor of Vegas as well as the thrills of outdoor concert experiences. And with seating space for thousands, including a large general admission lawn space, there’s plenty of room for fans to catch their favorite shows.
The venue continues to be a major part of tourist life in Vegas and with upcoming concerts by Raekwon and others, it’s very likely to remain that way for years to come.]
A Brief History
The Amp was built on a former golf course that was originally designed in the 1960s. The original course went into disrepair but was spared from future development by the City of Las Vegas. From there, plans to build a new venue were set in motion in the early 2000s. The park that would become home to the amphitheater was built between 2009-2013 in response to the lack of open parks in the area. The actual amphitheater was then built and opened to the public in 2015.

Craig Ranch Amp is designed with space for over 6000 guests across multiple seating rows and columns. For most events, this includes three reserved seating sections and a wide general admission area on the hill behind the VIP seating.
Accessibility seating is available at the venue along with companion seating. But please contact the venue for assistance with these seats if you require them. You may call the venue at (702) 633-2418.
