When Rocklin, California opened Quarry Park Amphitheater, they knew that they wanted something special. Since its opening night, it has offered a picturesque setting for large events, live shows, cultural events, commercial concerts, and all other forms of world-class recreation. It has since become one of the most important parts of Rocklin’s gathering spaces and is, in fact, considered a vital part of the community’s cultural enrichment programs.

But what makes this one special compared to other similar venues is how much it packs into 17 acres of existing areas and peaceful space.

It offers a large stage sponsored by Platinum Living Services, and space for over 1500 guests for an incredibly wide variety of events. The park surrounding the venue is also complete with a huge variety of facilities, amenities, and natural features that keeps guests coming back. This includes the relaxing sounds of a waterfall, picnic areas, and the fresh air that you can expect from one of the greatest local parks in the state.

A Focus On Growth

As you can guess, the venue is wholly dedicated to enriching the people of Rocklin, California and all nearby cities. It opens its stage to all sorts of communal events and may be rented by local groups that want a picturesque locale for their important meetings or gatherings. This includes free movie screenings open to the public, tribute concerts celebrating the music of bands like The Eagles, Monkee's, and The Beatles. As well as a variety of community fostered special events.

But the venue owners still want to see it grow and help transform Rocklin into a major source of live entertainment. To that end, Quarry Park has formed a partnership for the purpose of bringing in bigger and better performers and acts to their stage. And so far, this partnership has borne fruit with lots of incredible shows from five-star bands, musicians, and performers.

Seating Chart

Quarry Park Amp may be a smaller venue, but it offers a cool and welcoming vibe that matches the small town vibe it creates. In fact, from the moment you arrive you’ll notice that the stage is built inside the front entrance of a brightly colored barn, which adds a certain homey and cozy feel that makes many guests feel like they are stepping back to a simpler time in history. 

The stage and barn are equipped with technology to allow for pyrotechnics and special effects as well as colorful lighting to match the moods of the visiting band, musician, or performer. This also means that the sound systems are set up so that guests can enjoy clear sounds from all angles and seats, whether in the vip area or on the lawn.

Seating Options

For most shows, the seating is arranged into three distinct sections.

At the front most of the venue, right in front of the stage, is what’s called the “Front of Stage Experience”. This is often a standing room only space where guests can enjoy the closest intimate connection with the performer as well as the clearest view of the stage. This is also where most of the dancing and loud cheering comes from as fans can really feel the energy the band puts out and return it with their own cheers and love.

Behind this is the VIP Experience area. This is often pre-set seating space for guests who want to enjoy the best compromise between clear sightlines and intimate connection with the stage as well as a more relaxed experience. Seating is often from pre-set fold out chairs that are chosen for comfort and sturdiness.

Finally, the general admission lawn space where most guests can enjoy the simple beauty of Quarry Park’s environment while still having sharp sightlines to the stage and excellent sounds to enjoy. This ‘seating’ area is first come, first serve, so if you want to sit on the wings or in the center of this space, we recommend showing up to the gate early so you can have your pick of seats.

ADA-Approved Accessibility Seating

The venue is proud and ready to offer accessibility seating. This includes wheelchair spaces with companion seating. However, this space is first come, first serve so be sure to call the venue if you need emergency accessibility seating or any other kind of accommodation.

Rules

The City of Rocklin wants all guests to the Amphitheater to have a safe and enjoyable time watching quality entertainment. To this end, they've created the following sets of rules and policies that all guests must follow. Not abiding by these rules will lead to ejection from the venue without refund. The venue will document all ejections which may lead to permanent bans from future Quarry Park Amp events.

ADA Policy

The Amphitheater is accessible to persons using wheelchairs and others with disabilities.  Informational material is available in large print.  Assistive listening devices, materials in other alternative formats, American Sign Language interpreters and other accommodations will be made available upon request.  Contact Kevin Huntzinger, (916) 625-5269, Providing at least 72 hours’ notice (or two weeks’ notice for American Sign Language interpreters) will help to help ensure availability.

Age Limit Policy

There is no age limit for the venue’s ticketed concert season. Alcoholic beverages will be available for guests 21 and over with a valid ID. 

Permitted/Prohibited Items

 PERMITTED:

• Each attendee can bring in a single towel/blanket for seating in General Admission areas, not to exceed 3’ x 5’ OR a single low profile chair*
• Low Profile Chairs: The specific measurements for a chair to qualify as low-profile are; no more than 7 inches from the ground to the seat, and no more than 20” from the top of the chair to the ground.
• Cameras with 3-inch lenses or shorter
• One sealed plastic water bottle per person
• Smoking only permitted in the designated areas of the venue
• Guests with medical bags or items they must carry with them will be inspected and either have a wristband or sticker placed on it to show that it has been inspected.

PROHIBITED:

• Chairs exceeding the low profile regulations
• Any outside food or beverages; Cans, glass bottles or alcoholic beverages
• Coolers of any size (including soft sided coolers)
• Pets (with the exception to service animals)
• Weapons of any kind (including silverware)
• Pepper Spray
• Bullhorns, klaxons, whistles, or any other noise makers that will disrupt the performance
• Laser pointers of any type
• Musical instruments
• Throwing objects of any kind
• Projectiles (Beach balls, Frisbees, hula hoops, footballs, or any other throwing type item)
• Any object that will create a fire (candles, fireworks, sparklers, etc.)
• Professional recording devices of any kind
• Umbrellas, ez-ups, and other temporary shade elements
• Strollers, playpens, or wagons
• Signs, banners, or tripods that will interfere with the view of the performance for other guests
• Skateboarding, in-line skates, or hoverboards
• Wallet chains, spiked bracelets, or belts
• Occupying any seat without the appropriate ticket or entering the venue without a ticket
• Irresponsible drinking or behavior
• Illegal substances or drugs
• Any gestures and/or clothing that utilizes profane language or content that promotes fosters, or perpetuates discriminations on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, gender, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, national origin, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, conduct or encouragement of illegal activity.
• Any distraction to the performance or performers
• Mistreatment to other guests or staff/personnel, including but not limited to, verbal abuse, harassment, profanity, confrontations, intimidation, or threatening behavior

Anyone possessing PROHIBITED items will be asked to return them to their vehicles before being allowed to enter the amphitheater or will be asked to dispose of the item/items in the garbage cans provided at the gate. 

Failure to follow the directions of law enforcement, security, ushers, ticket takers, or any other City of Rocklin personnel will result in ejection from the location

Re-entry Policy

Unfortunately, the venue does not allow in and out privileges. If you go outside of the gate, you will not be allowed back in. 

Refund Policy

All ticket sales are final. Refunds are only issued if an event is cancelled. All events are rain or shine. Similarly, there are no exchanges allowed.

Parking

Quarry Park Amp is located at 4000 Rocklin Rd in Rocklin, CA 95677. Your favorite gps or map making software, device, or app will get you to the venue on time. However, we suggest arriving no later than a half hour before the ticketed event start time so you can get through security without issue and make it to your seat before the show begins.

Once you arrive, there are plenty of pre-paid parking opinions at Quarry Park. Staff at the park will be glad to direct you if you need assistance finding appropriate parking.

OTHER PARKING OPTIONS

• ADA parking will be within the City Hall parking lot, located at 3970 Rocklin Road.
• Drop off & pick up located within the Police Department driveway at 4080 Rocklin Road for ride-share options such as Lyft, Uber or Cabs. This can also be utilized for ADA drop off/pick up as well.
• Free Parking Lots are located at the Rocklin Train Station, Oak & Pacific, and Pine & Pacific. Park at your own risk. Please be observant of all traffic signs.
• No Parking available at Winding Lane. You may be ticketed.

PEDESTRIAN ROUTES

• From Pre-Paid Parking Lot— Walk through Quarry Park Adventures and follow the dirt path to the Main Entrance of the Quarry Park Amphitheater
• From Pick Up/Drop Off—Utilize secondary entrance near Quinn Quarry Pond.
