About

Apopka Amphitheater is an outdoor venue with seating for over 6000 guests. This includes 1500 covered set seating in the VIP area as well as lawn seating fit for about 5000 guests. The venue also has concession stands and a nearby walking trail making it an excellent stop for guests who want to enjoy a good walk before or after the show as well as tasty snacks and cold drinks to enjoy during the event.

The Amphitheater is part of the Northwest Recreation Complex which has many facilities spread out over 180 acres of land. This includes a baseball diamond, a basketball court, an outdoor gym, several walking trails and other sporting event locations. 

Guests also enjoy the venue because of the gorgeous lakeside view it offers. You can feel close to nature and see the beauty of the world with the carefully tended walkways, gardens, and visuals. And with several sports events and facilities around, there’s always something to do.

Apopka amphitheater Use

Ever since it opened to the public, the Amphitheater has been used for a wide range of concerts, musicals, live shows, and other special events. They have welcomed famous local and national organizations and bands from a variety of musical genres and influences. This includes concerts from artists such as Rebelution, Lettuce, and Steel Pulse.

In addition, the Amphitheater offers a free concert series that includes events by tribute bands celebrating the biggest names in music. These monthly series are open to audiences and are well worth the visit, especially as they often play close to leather events.

Seating Chart

For most events, Apopka Amphitheater has 1200 covered pre-built seating and room for 5000 other guests on lawn seating. Lawn seating is typically general admission seating with guests being welcomed on a first come first served basis. Whereas vip seating is reserved. This includes accessibility seating which the staff can direct you to once you arrive.

VIP seating is covered and protected from light weather patterns. All seating, VIP or General Admission, is open and has excellent views of the park making for a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Also, acoustics and sightlines were prime considerations for the venue to ensure that you can hear the action and see it all as it happens. For most guests, there are no bad seats in the house.

Rules

In order to keep their guests safe and comfortable, Apopka Amphitheaeter has several rules and guidelines. Please take the time to read and understand these rules before coming down to the show. Because failure to abide by them may result in getting escorted off the premises with no refund or banned from the venue in more extreme circumstances.

Animal Policy

For the most part, the Amphitheater asks that pets not be taken to the concert space, especially if you’re in the covered seating area. However, if you call ahead at 407-703-1784 you can ask about the policy for service animals for that event and in your seating area.

Late Arrival Policy

Generally speaking, events start at the time listed on the program or your ticket. So please be there on time. To give you the most time to set up and get comfortable, it is recommended you arrive no later than a half hour before show time.

Refund Policy

Generally ticketed events do not allow refunds or exchanges. However, if the event is canceled due to weather or circumstances beyond your control, then they will attempt to reschedule the event. If that is impossible, then you may be eligible for a refund. You may call the venue at  407-703-1784 with any questions.

Restricted Items

Generally speaking, guests and visitors are not allowed to bring the following items to the venue.

• No professional cameras or any camera with detachable lenses are allowed
• No Audio or Video Recording Devices, GoPros, Laptops, or Selfie Sticks
• No Wrapped Gifts or Balloons
• No Signs larger than 2’ X 2’ or with posts of any kind
• No Strollers unless tickets are in our Suites, Lounge 954, or Corona Beach House
• No weapons of any kind (Knives, Pocket Knives, Mace, Tasers, Etc.)
• No Chains or Spikes
• No Fireworks and Laser Pointers
• No Airhorns or Vuvuzelas
• No Food is permitted unless for medical/religious purposes
• No Previously Purchased Souvenir Cups
• No Non-prescription Drugs
• No Animals, except Certified Service Animals
• Laptops Are Not Permitted
• Any Other Item Management or the NHL may deem dangerous to Public Safety

Parking

If you’re driving up to Apopka Amphitheater for the show then you may want to consider carpooling with your friends and family. While there’s plenty of parking on site, you can save time and stay close together if you drive in as few cars as possible.

The venue is located at 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway Apopka, FL 32712 and you can find directions using your favorite GPS or mapmaking software. Once you arrive, you can ask staff to direct you to parking for the amphitheater as the venue is one of several facilities on site.
