Community is a big part of what makes Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater special. Since it opened in 2013, the venue has dedicated itself towards providing a massive amount of community events as well as stunning live shows and concert events. But it’s also been used for easter egg hunts, marriages, conventions, motorcycle rallies, camp out events, sports events, races, and more.
But the venue’s largest event by far is the legendary Hinterland festival. This annual event is a music festival combined with a camping event so that guests and visitors can enjoy the great outdoors in a safe and comfortable atmosphere as well as music from bands and musicians that are incredibly talented and often heard only in the local scene. This makes it the perfect chance to discover new music or to find bands that haven’t yet broken into the mainstream music scene.
But what do people say about Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater?
For the most part, feedback and reception is incredibly positive. Many visitors and regulars alike love the rich and comfortable camping grounds. They frequently talk about how the vibe of the community coming to the venue is always positive as well as how helpful the staff can be with any of their needs.
But one of the biggest compliments that you’ll hear is how the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater never stops growing. When the Hinterlands Festival became a popular destination, for instance, some fans and visitors talked about how packed things were, especially around the vendors and food trucks. So the venue answered in kind by hiring more vendors every year to answer the call. This means that everyone has easy access to the things they need and lines remain acceptably low.
Most events at Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater have seating broken up into two parts. Closest to the stage is a VIP seated area with chairs spread across the wide expanse. Seating is often fold out chairs or standing room only space that keeps the audience close to the action. The General Admission lawn space is behind the VIP seating area. This seating is often filled with standing room only at larger events including the Hinterlands Festival concerts or with guests setting up their own blanket seating area for more relaxed events.
Because of the massive size of the venue, reserved seating events are rare. So it’s recommended that guests arrive early so they can get the best spots they can. If an event is reserved seating, however, it will be notated in the event description.
Accessibility spaces are available, though guests will want to call ahead to ask about any accommodations that may be required. You can request accommodations or ask for assistance by calling (515) 333-4626.
