When Concrete Street Amp opened, it quickly found its place in the heart of the concert going public. The large stage has brought some of the most rocking shows to the public including concerts by the Dirty Heads, Randy Rogers Band, Iration, The Expendables, and more. It’s also become a tour date destination for some of the biggest music tours in the country, including the Rebelution: Good Vibes summer tour. Best of all, it’s got an intense mix of shows and events that have left audiences begging for more.

For many fans, the versatility of the venue is its greatest strength. It offers a variety of event types to suit the needs of visiting performers and their fans. This includes pavilion shows and main stage shows that each have their own set of options. This even includes shows with standing room only pit areas right in front of the stage for that wild concert experience. But regardless of what option you choose, Corpus Christi’s famous sites, shopping, and dining options are all within a short drive from the venue.

A Brief History

No one could have guessed how fast Concrete Street Amp would have grown since it opened its doors in 2001. Since then, it’s become the focal point for the city’s live music scene and a popular destination for popular artists.: This includes some of the biggest names in music from Billy Idol to Joan Jett, Bone Thugs ‘N’ Harmony to Fetty Wap, Randy Rogers to Eli Young Band, Godsmack to ZZ Top, Weezer to Fall Out Boy, Randy Rogers to Eli Young Band, Godsmack to ZZ Top, Slipknot to Maroon 5, B.B. King to Miranda Lambert, and more!

And it will continue bringing the best bands out every season of every year.

Seating Chart

The venue has two types of seating arrangements for most events. Generally speaking the VIP section is right in front of the stage. This section will have seating available to guests and the closest view of the stage and performers. During pit events, there will be a pit area behind the VIP section. This section is general admission only and will have excellent sight lines to the stage. Finally, there is a general admission lawn space area that is closed off. Guests will not be allowed to bring their own chairs to this section.

Accessibility Seating

The venue is fully accessible with ramps and handrails throughout the venue. When you purchase your ticket, you can request ADA-approved seating and companion seating for the event. If you have questions or need emergency assistance, please call the venue at 361-884-8085 ext. 1.

Rules

In order to ensure that all guests have a safe and comfortable time, Concrete Street Amp has the following rules. Please take the time to read and understand these policies as failure to abide by them may result in expulsion without refund. Alcohol Policy

Anyone under the age of 21 consuming alcohol or trying to purchase alcohol will be escorted out of the park and may be prosecuted.

All-Ages Policy

Unless otherwise noted, the venue and shows are all-ages appropriate. Guests are expected to act appropriately.

Animal Policy

Service animals may be brought into the venue with guests in need. Service animals must be leashed and harnessed at all times.

Bag Policy

All bags, purses and persons are subject to security search upon entry.

No over-sized bags or purses over the size of half a sheet of paper are allowed (4.25” x 11” is our standard)

No backpacks or selfie sticks allowed.

Camera Policy

No cameras are allowed in the venue. Phones only.

Chair Policy

No outside chairs allowed. Blankets may be brought in for hill seating.

Child Policy

No child under the age of 16 admitted without adult supervision. Children six and under are free in the general admission area only with a paid adult ticket at most shows.

Moshing/Body Surfing Policy

No body surfing or moshing of any kind is allowed at Concrete Street. Anyone posing a danger to others or themselves will be escorted out of the park.

Restricted Items

• No outside food, drink, coolers or water allowed. Concessions are offered inside the venue.
• No outside chairs allowed. Blankets may be brought in for hill seating.
• No weapons of any kind may be brought into the park including knives of any kind, mace, pepper spray, stun guns, wallet chains, metal chokers, chain belts, hairpins or umbrellas.
• No one may carry a firearm in the park including concealed permit holders and off duty peace officers not in uniform.
• Any other item deemed inappropriate by management.

Parking

Concrete Street Amp is located at 700 CONCRETE ST. CORPUS CHRISTI, TX 78401. Your favorite map making software or GPS can get you to the venue on time. Alternatively, if you need directions, then here are some handy guides to help you.

PORTLAND / GREGORY

Take State Highway 181 from Portland to Corpus Christi. As you pass over the Harbor Bridge, take the exit to Shoreline Blvd. (note that both the Power St. and Padre St. exits will be closed by law enforcement). At the Chaparral St. stoplight, turn left. Take your first left on Belden and travel two blocks to Tancahua St. At Tancahua go right. Parking closest to the event is on the right.

SAN ANTONIO / KINGSVILLE

Take IH 37 all the way into Corpus Christi. Exit Shoreline Blvd. At the Chaparral St. stoplight, turn left. Take your first left on Belden and travel two blocks to Tancahua St. At Tancahua go right. Parking closest to the event is on the right.

Once you arrive, there is plenty of parking available nearby.  Accessible parking is available at the entrance to both Amphitheater and Pavilion shows. All spots are marked with the universal symbol, hang tags or plates are needed for the accessible parking.
