In the last few years on the music scene, there's been a lack of passionate, electrifying artists, especially within the Country and Indie music scene. But we can thank our lucky stars as the void has now been filled as Jade Bird is taking centre stage across the genres.

Her entoxicating music is grabbing the attention from the masses, from fans, critics and reviewers alike, along with fellow famous musicians who have nothing but positive words to say about her.

 Jade Bird might be starting out in her career but her raw quality and intense drive pours out of her and there's no doubt in mind that big things are coming her way.

When performing live, Jade Bird captivates the audience and draws them in, an ability that only a few really possess and it's even more impressive as she's only just 22 years of age. Her talents are far beyond her years and her ability to craft the perfect song in it's soundscape and arrangement is clear to any listener. It's no wonder that her fan base is growing stronger and wider by the day!

Hailing from Northumberland, England, Jade Bird has had an interesting up bringing as she moved to London at just two years old and lived on a German military base when she was just five. The traveling and alternative life-style has been at the core of her childhood as she was part of an Army family and has carried on into her adult-hood, making music the perfect passion and career to persue.

After attending and graduating from the famous BRIT School in London, Jade began to work on her performance skills and took to the stage across the local music scene. As she showcases her talents on the underground at venues across London, she was featured in 2017 on BBC Radio 1 with a live piano session.

With a quick realisation that her ideal and natural musical sound fits into the Country and Americana genre's, Jade Bird took to the road and travelled to the United States, where she performed in Austin, Texas and gained her North American fan base.

After people started to catch wind of this talented musician, Jade Bird soon began performing along side the likes of; First Aid Kit, Son Little and London Grammar as the support band for their tours.

During this time, Jade Bird's music was being spread far and wide and reached all over the world from Germany to the UK, to the US and more and she recieved an ANCHOR award in Hamburg and was a finalised for the BBC Sound of Award the year after.

Studio releases

With her love for the likes of Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen and Neil Young to name a few, Jade Bird wanted to record her first EP in dedication for her American fan base and fittingly titled her EP, Something American which was created and produced in Woodstock, New York.

Jade Bird was more than ready in 2019 to bring to life her self titled first ever full album and the success that has followed has been groundbreaking. 

Jade Bird (album) includes her mind blowing single "Lottery" and her most successful single to date "Uh Huh." Uh Huh is a catchy, powerful song and features her in all her glory in the music video as it shows Jade Bird rocking out on her guitar, her ability to blend styles from all the decades from the bohemian 70's, to the grungey 90's is flawless and is an exciting sound that people just cannot get enough of!

As she joins Hozier on tour and celebrates her own album release, this upcoming year is an explosive one for Jade Bird!
