Don’t let her dorky vibes fool you, Ayo Edebiri is working hard on the comedy scene. The writer, actress, and stand-up was lauded for her set on Comedy Central's Up Next, leading to her scripted digital series with Rachel Sennot, Ayo and Rachel Are Single, airing on the network in May 2020. As a TV writer, she wrote for The Rundown with Robin Thede and NBC's Sunnyside before moving to Netflix’s Big Mouth, where she also became the voice of the character Missy, taking over from Jenny Slate in 2020. Edebiri also co-hosts a podcast called Iconography with Olivia Craighead.
