ABOUT THE WAILERS
The Wailers of course began their start in music as the three most influencial artists in Reggae with the members; Peter Tosh, Bob Marley and Bunny Livingston, together they created a legacy that still lives on today and will do for many years to come. As Bob Marley rose to fame and their success became worldwide, the band also grew to include the Wailers band to back and the I Threes backing vocalists; Rita Marley, Judy Mowatt & Marcia Griffiths.
As they recorded and performed for the duration of Bob Marley's music career, they gave to the world some of the greatest Reggae songs of all time including; No Woman No Cry, Concrete Jungle, One Love, Buffalo Soldier, Stir It Up, just to name a few.
Since their long-standing famous career, Bob Marley & The Wailers have become an iconic group that inspire the masses, from fellow artists within the Reggae genre, to fans around the globe. By slowing down the 1960's Ska music at the time, together they had a groundbreaking impact on the roots music scene and Reggae was created as we know of it today.
It's hard to put into words just how much of an impact Bob Marley & The Wailers have had, their songs have become bigger than life!
In 1981 Bob Marley passed away, leaving his never ending catalogue of music behind, but The Wailers band have set out to ensure that his music lives on, to keep the fire burning, The Wailers have carried on with extensive touring and show no sign of stopping.

In 2014 The Wailers marked the anniversary of Bob Marley's Legend album, with thirty years since it's released, the only true way to celebrate was to bring the songs back to life and hit the road to play the album live to their fan base. Legend is the best selling Reggae album of all time and is much loved by so many, their special dedication through an incredible tour was the perfect way to mark it's occassion.
The Wailers have played to some of the biggest crowds across North America, Europe, Africa, Jamaica, South America the UK and in 2015 they performed in India for the very first time.
Everywhere they travel to, amphitheaters are packed out with loving fans and the crowd is oozing with excitement and anticipation, as they take to the stage, the venue lights up with joy and admiration.
