Chase Atlantic's mussy is fuzzy, dreamy, and punk-tinged, mixing trap and R&B with rock to create a moody, atmospheric sound that is as intoxicating as its subject matter! As musically stylish as they are sartorially, the band has a sound that matches its aesthetic perfectly!

Australian band and production trio Chase Atlantic was formed in Cairns, Queensland in 2014. The band currently consists of Mitchel Cave, Christian Anthony, Clinton Cave, Patrick Wilde, and Jesse Boyle.
Previous to their time in the band, Christian Anthony and Mitchel Cave were in a boy band called What About Tonight, which was formed to compete in season 4 of The X Factor Australia, where they were eliminated in the second round. Clinton Cave had a successful YouTube channel, Clinton Cave Music, where he uploaded videos of himself performing music with his younger brother Mitchel. The Cave brothers and Anthony began performing and writing together for the first time in 2013 under the name K.I.D.S. (Kind Imaginations. Destructive Situations.), releasing the song "Addicted."
2014-2015: Dalliance and Nostalgia
Not long after their work as K.I.D.S., Clinton Cave asked his bandmates (Cave and Anthony) to help him record for a university project. Together, they released their debut EP as Chase Atlantic, Dalliance, on 26 May 2014.
Their follow-up EP, Nostalgia, was released in February 2015. "Friends", a track from the EP, became popular on Tumblr. Later that year, the trio was discovered by Joel and Benji Madden of Good Charlotte, who signed the group to their management company, MDDN, in early 2016.
2016-2018: EPs and debut studio album
January 2016 saw the release of the single "Obsessive," ahead of their third EP, Paradise, in February. That year, the band toured extensively in promotion of their new music, including dates in Australia.
The following January, to coincide with signing to Warner Bros. Records, the band released a fourth EP, Part One. Part Two, another EP, came in March 2017. Later in the year, they opened for Sleeping with Sirens' Gossip: Up Close & Personal Tour. Part Three, the final record in a trio of EPs, was released in September 2017.
In October 2017, Chase Atlantic released their eponymous debut album. Following the release, they embarked on a headlining North American tour, followed by an Australian tour opening for Blackbear.
Touring continued throughout 2018, with the band opening for Lights in the US and also performing sets at several US & UK festivals, including Bonaroo, Vans Warped Tour 2018, and Reading/Leeds Festival 2018.
Two standalone singles, "Numb to the Feeling" and "Tidal Wave", were released in mid-2018. That summer, the band departed Warner Bros. Records.
