ABOUT GLORILLA

Gloria Hallelujah Woods, aka GloRilla, is a rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. Raised in the Frayser neighborhood as one of 10 children, she was homeschooled until fifth grade and began rapping at the age of 16. Initially, she had planned to become a singer, having grown up singing in the church choir, but she decided to switch to rap after losing her voice. She graduated from Martin Luther King College Prep.

CAREER

Woods’ debut mixtape, Most Likely Up Next, was released in 2019 followed by the EP P Status in May 2020.

Her big break came in April 2022, when her single "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" (with producer Hitkidd) went viral on TikTok, leading to the #FNFChallenge. Two remixes followed; one featuring Latto and JT and one with Saweetie.

That June, Woods and Duke Deuce released the song "Just Say That." The following month, she signed with fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti's record label Collective Music Group, who featured her on the compilation album Gangsta Art.

In September 2022, she released "Tomorrow 2" (featuring Cardi B), which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

October 2022 saw Woods nominated for two awards at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, where she also performed.

GloRilla dropped her EP Anyways, Life's Great... in November 2022, and early the following month, she was featured along with rapper Gangsta Boo on Latto's single "FTCU" ("Fuck the Club Up").

January 2023 saw her collaborate with labelmate Moneybagg Yo on the single "On Wat U On".

"F.N.F. (Let's Go)" (with Hitkidd) is nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in February 2023.
